Resources

There are some great resources out there to help you with your hockey journey. Here are a few of my personal favourites:

Shops

Puckstop – the ‘go-to’ shop for hockey equipment in the UK and the largest hockey gear shop by size. Well worth a visit if you are near. Prices are sometimes a bit more expensive than others but service is top-notch.

SkateStation – another fantastic hockey shop. The shop is brilliant with friendly staff who know what they’re talking about.

MonkeySports – a gigantic hockey retailer, really big in the US but not as popular in the UK. Much cheaper than other shops but items take a long time to arrive as they often come from Sweden.

You should always visit a shop in person when buying skates as you can find the pair that suits you perfectly and you will be able to have them professionally baked. Only purchase skates online if you really have to.

YouTube

HowToHockey.com – another great range of hockey drills and videos which explain various aspects of the game well.

HockeyShare – straight to the point tutorial and explanation videos
